Ananya Banerjee is a Globe-Trotter, Artist, Chef, YouTuber, Author and a Lawyer by educational qualification. Her paintings adorn the walls of many private and corporate houses. She had shows around the world including Paris, Holland, Germany amongst others.
Her travels all across the globe have given her culinary skills an eclectic nature. Her first cookbook named “Planet Gastronomy – 100 Most Popular Global Recipes” the only global cookbook of its kind published in India. It includes recipes from 60 different countries. Lots of recipes are quite unexplored and come from countries like Ethiopia, Nigeria, Taiwan, Philippines, Peru, Chile along with the usual French, Thai and Italian cuisines. Ananya is working on her upcoming book titled ‘Bangala Gastronomy – The journey of Bengali Food’.
Ananya’s food journey has been adventurous. She is a regular menu-planner and food consultant to high-profile clientele. She enjoys curating and customizing food for corporate events. Her speciality dining experiences serving Ethiopian, African, Peruvian, German, Oriya and Bengali has won accolades amongst media.
Cookery classes are Ananya’s way of sharing her passion for food. She has conducted classes in different countries including UK, USA, including Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and India. She has also held workshops at the American and Japanese Women’s Clubs in Germany, Holland and Austria.
Her other avatar is food entrepreneur with her own line of gourmet products including authentic Indian and international spice blends and relishes.
Ananya’s core belief is that food is the greatest connect to people. It transcends all geographical boundaries of language, caste and creed. This belief helps her to effortlessly straddle her multiple roles as an international author, cuisine lover, expert-chef and teacher.
